The year is 2150, and the world is in panic. No one could have predicted that an alien race would have swooped down to Earth, hovering ever so delicately above the grassy terrain unique to this world before all the ships in its arsenal touched down as one. No one could have known how advanced they would be, but no one was more surprised than when they declared their intentions: peace and learning. At first, the inhabitants of the fragile planet were mistrustful, but as the foreign race kept their word, harming not a single inhabitant, the population of Earth welcomed them and the military technology they were so willing to share, technology so far advanced that it was more than one thousand years ahead of their own flimsy safeguards. The alien race, called the maladins, stayed for ten years, and when they had taught the people of Earth of their technology, they left. That was where the Earth-people expected it to end.
But after only three weeks, a healthy 35-year-old man in Switzerland succumbed to an illness that left him feverish and delusional for ten days. The fever did not leave his body until it had accomplished it horrific work, leaving the man no longer a man. He was now identical in every way to one of the maladin.
From that land, the illness spread, leaving neither man nor woman unchanged once exposed, leaving the world a world truly conquered by the maladins. Scientists the world over frantically looked for any way to halt or reverse the damage, seeking the cure in the blood of those still human. And they found it. In the blood of a seven-year-old Australian boy. The family was told the devastating news. For the cure was meant to be taken from a healthy human adult, and the amount of blood needed would kill the small child. His father agreed, and his mother wept. The procedure was completed, and throughout the planet the impurities of those transformed were cleansed. The world was once again human, and the small boy was buried in an unmarked grave close to where he had given his life.
This is our story: the story of every person that has ever lived. Whether they know it or not, they had been infected, and the injection is standing by, to be used to cleanse them as soon as they will acknowledge their need.

God's love
I'd like to preface this post by saying that it was brought on by a video I watched, and has been posted with very little editing, so the flow is unorganized and a little chopped up.
FYI: The video I watched was The Lifehouse Everything Skit, and if you haven't seen it, you need to. If you're new to the gospel or if you have heard it so many times it has become little more than a spew of words that are occasionally thrown at you, the skit will change your life.
I think I know why we're here now. When our pastor said the goal was not speaking to others about God, or reading the bible more but God, I wasn't sure what that entailed. Now I know. It means that you love God so much because He loves you, and even if you've willingly been killing and murdering and raping for your whole life, he still wants you back to fix you and make you again the perfect being that he created and loves. And no matter how long you run, he still will chase after you, because even if you say you don't want anything to do with him, he still wants you to reside in perfect happiness with him, and even if you say you hate him, he still wants the best for you, and that means being with him and seeing everything through his eyes because he is perfect and nothing troubles him because he has a perfect plan that he has complete faith in.
And once you grasp this marvelous love if only for the briefest glimpse, you realize that you want anyone you care about to see this marvelous love and let it shape the way they see life, and the way they go through the world, because that is absolutely the best possible way to go through life.
And you also want to tell them because you know that God is looking at them and crying for the things they are doing to themselves and that are happening to them, and that he just wants to make them the same perfect thing he created. And you want to be part of those plans because you see how perfect he is, and how magnificent his plan for the world is, and you want everything to do with that plan, and with him.
